Default Which main.cf to modify

Hi

I've just installed Linux, and are about to configure postfix. But there
are 2 main.cf files. One called main.cf and one called main.cf.dist.
Which one shall I modify to get the config I want on my server?

Probably main.cf; main.cf.dist is often the default file that comes
with the postfix source, while main.cf is whatever your distro has put
in its place, customised to suit its own tweaks...
