Default why is my mail going out and in

hello I installed suse 8 with postfix 1.1.12-13
I know that there are more recent version.

But i'm using this postfix for now only for internal mail.

I changed some parameters on the file main.conf which were
myhostname = mailserver.virtual.com
mydomain= virtual.com
myorigin=$mydomain
inet_interface=all
mydestination=$myhostname, localhost.$mydomain,$mydomain
mynetworks_style=class
mynetwork=192.1.1.0/24, 127.0.0.1/8
mail_spool_directory=/var/mail

The problem that I'm verifying is that.
when em pine tell that send message to root@mailserver.virtual.com it is
trying to send to that domain it doesn't know that is him why is that ??

do I Have to put that address in hosts will that be enough??

Thanks for all of your help?

Miguel Lopes
