I am running a debian etch server and i successfully configured exim4. I am able to receive mails from all domains (each domain has its own IP) and I can send mails. For outgoing mails exim always uses the same IP. I that ok, or should I try to send each mail over the IP belongig to it's sender domain? If so: How to do it? :-) best regards René |

So long as the information Exim sends as the helo argument matches the IP PTR record, this is quite normal practice. Andrew. |

I worried that the e-mail sent through exim might be recognized as Spam. But everything is working fine :) René |
