the difference between Exim and Post Fix

Can some one explain to me their definition as to why I might want to
use Exim instead of Postfix and why? What apps are post fix good for
what apps are exim good for? Sorry if I start a flame going here but I
am working on a Fedora setup and I have used Linux before just wanna
make sure I know what I am doing.
