Hi there
I'm using the Debian Woody Exim 4 heavy backport (Exim 4.34 + exiscan ACL patch). A callout on a hotmail address complains about a reset; 2005-02-09 15:14:38 H=bay21-f25.bay21.hotmail.com (hotmail.com) [65.54.233.114] sender verify fail for <XXX@hotmail.com>: response to "RSET" from mx3.hotmail.com [65.54.253.99] was: 554 Transaction failed 2005-02-09 15:14:38 H=bay21-f25.bay21.hotmail.com (hotmail.com) [65.54.233.114] F=<XXX@hotmail.com> rejected RCPT <XXX@YYY>: Sender verify failed I suspect Exim ends a callout with a RSET rather then a QUIT. I tried a callout verify without a postmaster verify, but this has the same result. Telnetting to the SMTP port of a Hotmail MX reveals that it immediatly disconects on a RSET. Is there any way one can change this behaveour?
