MLM Software

I am in need of MLM software. I see several web site that offer some form
of it. Prices range from 279.00 up to 35,000.00

My customer has some very specific needs which may not work in the
cheaper versions. I am sure the 25,000 to 35.000 would be custom work and
probably work for now. Naturally that price is way over his head at the
moment.

Does anyone know of fairly decent low cost software that we would be able
to edit after the installation?

I have done one small site on MLM. I am thinking of just plowing ahead
and start writing the whole thing myself. My fear is two things, one,
this would have to handle 100,000 to 200,000 distributors within a year
and second, time. The company is growing quickly, USA and Canada sells
now and several other foreign countries soon, and has over 800
distributors right now and gaining new ones at an ever increasing rate
every day. The manual method of running the business has overwhelmed
them, time is of the essence.

Either way, canned software or custom made, I will probably be looking to
built some team of programmers who can assist me along the way. I have
seen the backend of a company that THIS company should look like within a
year and it an't no small potatoes, everything from admin cp, website
replication, commission reports to training videos and learning resources
with lots of junk in between. if you have experience and want some work,

Yeah, then I too can be a peon at the bottom of a pyramid for however
long it takes me to realize I'll never make any money. There's one born
every minute.

hmmm, read again what I posted. you WOULD NOT be a distributor unless you
make that decision. This is just the programming end of the business. I
only have to know how to set up the matrix to work on a web page plus
their company info. This has nothing to do with joining a MLM program.

no problem, I am going to use Joomla for the main web site
and try to use virturemart to capture sells for the various distributors,
so I will be in the Joomla forum and virturemart web site mainly.

yes, It is MLM software of some form that will run this site. Let me say
this, I have been around the block several times in my life now, I have a
completely different set of morals from when I was 18 which was quite
awhile ago for me.

This job will pay a large sum of money over the duration. So I am concern
about TWO things only. First my coding is accurate and functions within
my clients time frame and Second their checks don't bounce. I am not
making any judgement on what they do with their site. As long as it is
legal and they are willing to pay someone to run their web site, I am
ready.

but hey, thanks for replying and giving it some thought, get past the MLM
thing, in some forms it is just another way of marketing. 8-)
