MIME-Types Skript / DB

Hey newsgroup,

I am writing an php application for sending mime encoded emails. Does
anyone know a resource for setting the mime-type of attachments
accordingly to the file type? I got a lot of HUGE websites and documents
but no efficient way to put in a mysql database e.g.

I just want to look up the mime-type accordingly to the suffix of the
attachment.

Thanks for any ideas!!!
