PHP Newbie

Hello

In web development , I've covered both ASP and ColdFusion (as well as
JavaScript and html/xhtml) in my studies.

I'd like to learn PHP at some stage. I've read that PHP on Linux is somehow
better than PHP on Windows. Is this true? I've got both Windows NT4 Server
and Windows 98SE and I recently picked up Fedora Core 1.
