I installed the RPM for PHP using WebMin
and then created a test .php3 test file. I followed instructions to add the php modules to httpd.conf and the mime type to the global config. All standard stuff so I thought. I rebooted and now I can't log in to KDE. Strangely though, the test php3 file does load up and run. Even more strange, is that I deleted the changes I made to the httpd.conf file and rebooted because I couldn't log in to KDE and now it appears that the installed RUNNING PHP version is not the one I installed but the one Mandrake 9.1 comes with, I think it's 4.0..... I guess all I really need to do is find out how to log into KDE again. Is this some kind of authentication problem? Thanks again. |
