Can someone help me walk through the building of what could become a
good CMS concept. I have posted my diagram at http://www.yibc.org/dft.rtf I want to make this for the YIBC.org website but I need some help. I want to build and learn beyond the simple scripts so I could use a good friend to guide me as I design from the ground up. I am a newbie compared to some but I am beyond the "hello world" pages in the dummies books. Anyway, all help on this would be welcomed and you would be doing a good service to many people. BACKGROUND - Our church has people all over Asia and we need something like the diagram I attached. I have built one simple php ( with MySql ) site thus far on my desktop server and I have used perl for simple CGI's in the past.To be honest - It was hard without a teacher trying to learn by myself. Can anyone help set me on my way by suggesting ready made open code or helping check mine because I dont know all the tricks yet. THE BENEFIT - all code from this project will be available to anyone and I will type up a neat tutorial as I learn for the proceedures other newbies who get stuck like me. --------------------- ADAM RUMPKE |
