Hi Adax !

MySQL products are available on two ways:
- community
- commercial

In community mode, binaries, tools and connectors are not certified. For
example, in production, if your database or engine crashes, you can't
have dedicated support and you won't have available patches or hotfixes,
except in later version.

In Enterprise mode, it's different. You subscribe a contract (there are
different levels: basic, silver, gold, platinum, unlimited ....). Each
contract gives you services:

- hotline, support, certified binaries, tools, applications and
connectors and other many services.

- a wonderful tool: MySQL Enterprise Monitor which gives you a lot of
parameters, charges and best practices about cluster, replication,
indexes and so on.

For a commercial use, the cost of MySQL is calculated:

- in volume licenses
- in single license

and the final client. So, it's important for you to call MySQL for
prices. The first Basic MYSQL Enterprise contract is about 737 USD
