Hi all,
I have qmail-toaster RPMS installed on REDHAT 9. and it is
working fine as long as i am connected with the internet. But when i
am ofline and i try to use any mail client or use telnet to connect
with the localhost:25 it takes up to 2 to 3 minutest for getting the
welcome message from qmail-smtpd.
I know it is a faq but i had used all the possible options like
tcpserver -R -P -H etc. but useless.

I beleive it is the problem of my local DNS. because when i am
connected with internet, it works fine.

I had a properly configured local DNS. and it workis fine with dig -x
127.0.0.1
and dig localhost.

Please help me if is it possible to use a local dns server (127.0.0.1)
with qmail.
