Tell Exim to use the incoming mail server of your ISP as it's smarthost.
It's probably a better idea to send mail directly to it's final
destination though.

Also have a look at RFC 0821 / 2821. Telnet to the SMTP (25) port of
your (ISP's) server and type some SMTP commands. This way you can learn
SMTP quickly and debug your server setup.
