Hi group,

I need to configure a VPN on my Linux server that accepts connections from
laptops with dynamic IPs.
I was thinking about configuring PPTP on my server to receive VPN
connections from Windows machines.
Configuring VPN connections on Windows machines is very straightforward, but
I'm a little bit confused about PPP/PPTP configuration on Linux server.
I've got a cable connection on my server and I don't know if I can put PPP
working with this kind of connection. Can I?
Another question: If not, can I configure PPTP without PPP?
I've read a papper about configuring PPTP and I think I can handle it, but
it always make reference to PPP. Is it realy necessary?
I would like to hear your comments.
