Default Autofs problem

Hello Everybody,
I'm having some trouble with my Red Hat Linux 9 system. Here is the
scenario.
I'm having NIS, NFS network environment. NIS server is SGI IRIX 6.5. I
have added a new Red Hat Linux 9 system. It is connected through NIS.
Everybody can see this machine & its shares.
I configured Autofs 4.1.2 on this system to access other system's
shares on the network. I can see the shares of all Linux systems, but
I'm unable to see the share for SGI, HP-UX, & Sun. When I try to access
the shares through automount i.e. cd
/hosts/<sgi_machine_name>/<share_name> it gives me No such file or
directory & when I try to mount the share manually it comes up with the
error Permission Denied.
But I can access my new systems share from anywhere, even from SGI &
all the systems. What could be wrong? Please do let me know what things
do I need to do from this system, I guess its a problem with my new
Linux system only.

thanks & regards,
