Default Linux server

I'm looking for a server Linux that can replace SME Linux (which seems to be
a pretty broken version of Linux).

What I need is a server Linux that can handle:
1. Multiple disk drives set up as soft-raid pairs.
2. Multiple LAN cards - no point in having a hub if I have a server!
3. A modem with several alternate dial-up numbers.
4. Printers

Essentially I want to connect 2 PCs and a laptop to the server directly, use
the server to handle my data storage and my printing and to use it also as
an Internet gateway. A built-in firewall would be advantageous.

Any suggestions? SME can't handle multiple numbers or multiple LAN cards and
I've never managed to get it to work with the printer either.
