As you are creating web site for very young users, And you want the
Passcode for security you can use dynamically generated Emails to send
your passcodes to the young users with the their effective date. And
can store this effective date and passcode in the Database.

if the user forgets his/her password then you can validate him/her and
send the email with passcode and effective date.
