I've been trying to configure Apache in my Windows XP and 2000 pro
computers but I can't seem to make it work. The problem states "could
not bind/listen to port...shutting down." I went to httpd text file
and tried to configure it with listen to 80, 127.0.0.1:80;8000;8080
etc (i got the ip and port numbers from going to dos and typing
"netstat -an" it then listed a bunch of ip, port numbers, listening,
and established ... if that makes sense) Can anybody help me? I'm a
newbie trying to get my feet wet with apache so I probabky won't know
all the prodecures and terms.
